Moss Removal

As your roof becomes older, the original protective layer of the roof tile is gradually eroded by the elements allowing for a build-up of moss. The build-up of moss on a roof is not only unsightly but can lead to blocked gutters and drains and potentially bigger issues (e.g. damaged gutter fittings).

Moss and algae tend to grow in damp, shaded areas and can cause damage to your roof both directly and indirectly.

When large patches of moss grow on your roof, they tend to hold water against the surface, which can cause the roofing materials to rot. In addition, water trapped by the moss pools can begin to store between gaps in your roof’s tiles. In the colder times of the year, water will often freeze and can potentially lead to the tiles being forced apart, causing even more damage!

Our moss removal service ensures that all moss and algae will be carefully removed by a skilled professional team leaving a clean and restored roof. We will never jet wash your roof!
