Slate and Tiling

Flexitec 2020 Resin is a unique flexible multi-surface fibreglass system. The system combines the toughness and fast-curing properties of GRP with the flexibility and overlay capabilities of other liquid systems.
When it comes to versatility, there is no other roofing system that can deliver top-rated performance across so many applications. Whether overlaying an existing roof or installing a new build-up, Flexitec 2020 delivers tough, seamless and rapid waterproof protection every single time.
Similar to GRP fibreglass systems, Flexitec 2020 uses a powder hardener for rapid curing and is reinforced with fibreglass CSM for extra strength and crack-resistance.
The finished membrane is also extremely tough, impact resistant and can easily accommodate foot traffic. However due to its unique flexible technology, Flexitec 2020 is able to coat all common roof surfaces such as felt, concrete, asphalt, GRP and timber – meaning roofs can be overlaid without the need for strip and replace works.

ROOF REPAIR
RA Leadworks & Roofing have been providing the highest quality roof repair service for most types of roof including flat roofs, slate and tiled roofs for over 2 generations.
Our skilled tradesmen are able to investigate and pinpoint the cause of any water leak or roof defect and carry out the necessary repair works on appointment. If the needed repair work is more extensive, we will provide a full breakdown of the work within our free, no obligation quote.
The most common problems we encounter include slipped or broken slates, tiles and ridges, loose, degraded mortar and defective lead roof flashings, unreliable roof flashing tape, blocked outlets and waterways – to mention but a few.
We will take photographs and videos of the defects to share with you so that you can see exactly what is the problem and what is required.

*Please be aware that if the quote requested is part of negotiation relating to the purchase of the property to be inspected a £100 call out charge will apply. This fee will then be deductable against the cost of any works carried out by RA Leadworks & Roofing within a 6 month period from the date of the inspection.
MOSS REMOVAL
As your roof becomes older, the original protective layer of the roof tile is gradually eroded by the elements allowing for a build-up of moss. The build-up of moss on a roof is not only unsightly but can lead to blocked gutters and drains and potentially bigger issues (e.g. damaged gutter fittings).
